Garrett Perchetti

I enjoy working with watercolors, oils, acrylic and other mediums as a decompression from work and everyday stressors. Usually, each piece is an experiment with layers or coloring or movement with one end goal of the viewer getting lost in a world that was once just a piece of paper or a blank canvas. It’s exciting to create these little windows into various worlds that each person sees a bit differently. These worlds exist as a collaboration between the seemingly separate moieties of art and science. I think it’s fun to explore how science can influence art and alternatively how art can inform science and the practice of medicine.
